Two Half-Day Camps with Sarah Fagan return to Green Bean this summer!
Woodland Magic Camp
NEW DATE!
Calling all forest lovers, fairy seekers, and gnome friends! Green Bean Books, artist Sarah Fagan, and businesses on Alberta Street team up this July to offer budding artists a fairy and gnome themed half day camp the week before our ever popular Fairy Day.
Who: Children ages 4 – 6
Where: Green Bean Books, with short trips on Alberta Street
When: M – F, July 21 – 25, 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.
(with a special party at 3:45 on Friday – family and friends welcome!)
How Much: $180/week
($10 off per child for registration before June 1)
What: An afternoon camp on Green Bean’s magical deck. Days will be filled with nature – and miniature-themed crafts like bookbinding, fabric dying, mask making, and fairy house building! We’ll listen to woodland, fairy, and gnome stories and folk tales. We’ll play games and enjoy fun, healthy snacks. Special visitors and a field trip to a paint-your-own-pottery studio round out the week.

Hear ye! Hear ye! Lovers of myths and legends, rejoice! Green Bean Books, artist Sarah Fagan, and businesses on Alberta Street are partnering this August to take emerging artists on a trip to Medieval times exploring magical arts and crafts!
Who: Children ages 7 - 11
Where: Green Bean Books with short trips on Alberta
When: M - F, August 18 - 22, 1:00 - 4:30 p.m.
How Much: $195/child with $10 off if registered before June 1.
What: An afternoon camp on Green Bean's magical deck. Days will be filled with an exploration of myths, legends, and historical arts and crafts from Medieval England, Ireland, and Scandinavia. Create a hand-stitched book and illuminated manuscript pages; listen to Norse tales while learning the runic alphabet. Healthy snacks provided. Special visitors and a field trip to a paint-your-own-pottery studio round out the week.
