Free Sign Language in Play Class
Bring your baby or toddler to sing, play and learn about the benefits of using American Sign Language signs with your child.  This is a free event open to anyone who is interested in learning more about signing with their baby or toddler.

They cleverly engineer a secret plan to extend their playtime and avoid bedtime altogether. Julia Sarcone-Roach's hilariously detailed illustrations coupled with her creative text make this book a perfectly imaginative and endearing bedtime read.

Ready for a dangerous read? You'll never meet a grumpier book with a bigger appetite. The risk in being devoured is definitely worth the read! This book will especially appeal to the reluctant reader set. Oh...and the illustrations are to die for!

This adorable, little fallible penguin will make you laugh and wince with empathy at the same time. If you've ever stood in a smelly elementary school gym staring at your feet while knowing you're going to be the last one picked to be on the team, this is the book for you! With determination and a little chutzpah Sergio prevails and saves the game just as the title predicts! Yay for the underdog (under-penguin)!

Finally a fantastic book about Ramadan. The collage and ink pictures in this book are exquisite! The text offers a lively and poetic description of the celebration of Ramadan in a child's voice filled with excitement. Ramadan Moon would be a perfect read aloud for a diverse audience. This book will help kids who are not Muslim understand Ramadan while helping validate the experiences of children who are Muslim. A teacher's dream book!
