Pseudonymous Bosch, author of the The Secret Series is coming to Portland!

October 8th, 3 PM@ The Knowledge Universe Children's Stage, Oregon Convention Center

Green Bean Books will host a disguise-making activity on the 8th and the 9th, and an outrageous mummy scavenger hunt on the 8th, with chances to win signed sets of Bosch books, spy kits, gift certificates and more!

Local author, Molly E. Johnson, will share her exciting new middle reader adventure, Spartacus and the Circus of Shadows, at a book release party at Green Bean Books on Wednesday, October 26th at 5pm.   The author will be reading aloud a short excerpt, telling stories, and handing out circus goodies to attendees.  Spartacus is the debut middle grade reader book published by RainTown Press, Portland's first independent middle grade and YA publishing house.

Local cartoonist, Aron Nels Steinke, releases his new “Balloon Toons” book, The Super Duper Dog Park, about an awesome amusement park where dogs ride bikes, fly kites, and have an unforgettable day! He will be at Green Bean to share his wonderful new book and host an accompanying canine craft project! Join us on Saturday, October 22nd at 2pm for this exciting event!
